WHAT IS IT

Microsoft is an American multinational corporation and a Big Five Tech Giant that is famous for their various Windows products and productivity applications. Founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in 1975, the company skyrocketed in the market industry through its idea of a personal computer operation system.



The Easter Egg

Since its first release, Microsoft has had various easter eggs throughout its softwares, such as hidden game features or even developer's credits. Two well-known eggs were the hiddlen Word 97 Pinball game and the Windows Team credit screen using a unique input into the computer's main homescreen.

DIRECTIONS

  1. THE WINDOWS TEAM WINDOW:
    • Ver. 1.xx : ALT + SHIFT + ESC + ENTER
    • Ver. 1.01 or Later : ALT (Hold) then ESC - release Alt then ESC, Press ESC twice, then Backspace
    • Ver. 2.00 or Later : Press F1 + F5, F9, F4, and Backspace in rapid succession
    • Ver. 3.1 : Open Program Manager - CTRL + ALT + SHIFT (Hold) - Double-click one colored square of Microsoft Logo - Close window - Reopen and click differernt square while stil lholding keys down - Keep repeating until Microsoft Bear appears in window
  2. OFFICE 97 Games:
    • Microsoft Excel : Make New Workbook - Press F5 - Enter L97:L97 - Press Enter - Press Tab Once - Press Ctrl-Shift while clicking Chart Wizard Icon in Toolbar - (Quit - ESC)
    • Microsoft Word : New Document - Enter Blue as the Content - Select Word and go to Format -> Font - Make color Blue and bolded - Type single space after the word - Enter Help -> About and Hold CTRL + SHIFT while clicking MS Word Banner
